My father taught me how to build at a very young age. He showed me how the grain in a 2 x 4 stud would make the board curve in a certain direction, how to build a deck, how to frame a building, hang sheet rock, shingle a house and even install a hot tub. Building was not my father's profession, just a hobby.
As I grew older, we worked together on projects such as a new garage, remodeling a house and even restoring my first car, a '66 Mustang. Over the years I have learned to take that knowledge and use it to make art out of wood, metal and acrylics.
Some of my art has been in the form of games such as Dominoes, Backgammon and Score Four . All of my pieces make one of a kind gifts for any occasion. I can even take something of sentimental value made out of wood and turn it into an heirloom pen that can be passed down from generation to generation. I really enjoy making something beautiful out of something that most would consider ordinary.
